ProMedica and WGTE Public media join Ken Dunn, Founder and President of the Resource Center in Chicago, IL for his talk, "Local Resources and Local Production: Creating a Sustainable Food Economy." Dunn discusses his methods and theories of practicing sustainable urban agriculture as well as it's impact on revitalizing the economies of city neighborhoods along with the importance of maintaining a strong local food culture. Also featured are pre-talks from Randy Oostra, President and CEO of ProMedica, Barbara J. Petee, Chief Government and Community Relations Officer for ProMedica as well as a special message from Sherrod Brown on hunger issues.
